We had a conversation with Luz Tejeda, the proprietor of Diva’s Dominican Hair Spa. She claimed that the explosion occurred on Saturday morning when she was at work.
Tejeda claimed that it was a wonder she lived after her roof collapsed and she had to visit the hospital with minor head and hand injuries.
“I have something on my arm, and the lamp and roof fell on my head,” Tejeda remarked. “The thing is, I feel good because I have life.”
It was the restaurant’s grand opening, other company owners informed NBC6.
It’s unclear how seriously the other victims were hurt.
The entire building was rated dangerous by Fire Rescue.
