11-Year-Old Boy Suffers Serious Injuries in Brooklyn Fireworks Blast, Brother Wounded

Police are looking into a fireworks accident that occurred in Brooklyn on Monday night, which resulted in two boys being hurt, according to officials.

An collision occurred at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and 57th Street in Sunset Park at approximately seven minutes after seven o’clock in the evening. The two boys, one aged eleven and the other aged thirteen, were located outside.

According to the police, they were experimenting with fireworks. The right hand of the 11-year-old child was severely injured with a very severe trauma. Some witnesses stated that it appeared as though he had lost several fingers, although it was unclear whether or not he would lose the appendage. The victim, who was 13 years old, suffered wounds and burns to his face as well as his right eye.

Both of the boys were transported to a hospital, and it is anticipated that they will prevail.
