A motocross track in Yadkin County, North Carolina, was the location of an accident that resulted in the death of a young boy from Virginia, who was 14 years old.
East Bend Motorsports reports that Camden Trail was riding on Saturday night when he and another rider collided in midair at the finish line jump. The collision occurred near the finish line. Despite the fact that paramedics and other emergency workers arrived at the site within a matter of moments, he finally succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Wright Funeral Services published an obituary for Camden, which stated that he was originally from Bassett, Virginia, and that he had a passion for “anything with a motor, especially his dirt bikes.” It appears that he was also the proprietor of his own yardwork company, which was called Cam’s Lawn Care.
“We do seek to honour Camden, and his parents made it very clear to me in the ambulance that he died doing what he loved,” East Bend Motorsports owner Travis Rominger said in a post on Facebook. “There is nothing that we would have done any differently, but we do seek to honour Camden.” “Their faith is very strong, this is all the details that I will share at this time, as I would just like the entire ebmx family to lift this family up in prayer during an unthinkable time.”
Saturday was the first day that East Bend Motorsports was open for practice. After the tragedy that occurred on Saturday, Rominger stated that it was necessary for the entire community to maintain the track so that it could be used for practice.
“All my six kids have ever known is track life and church life and occasionally a beach/mountain/Disney trip, and of course my boys ride and race, and I used to race, and it’s about time to come back out of retirement and get on a gate,” Rominger stated in a message posted on Facebook. “This life is challenging, and there are days when it just plain stinks, but the only choice we have is to keep going.” We all experience grief and deal with things in our own unique ways, and that is what makes each individual so unique.
