16-Year-Old Aidan Zingg Tragically Dies in Mammoth MX Crash

Aidan Zingg, a 16-year-old motocross star, died sadly during a race at Mammoth Mountain MX in California on June 28. He will be missed by everyone in the sport. Zingg was known as one of the most potential young racers in America. His sudden death has shocked everyone in the motorsports world.

Reports from DirtbikeLover say that Aidan Zingg, who is from Hemet, California, was at an open event when he fell in a turn and was hit by several bikes. He was horribly unconscious on the track for two full laps before the race was stopped. The injuries he had were deadly, even though he got medical help right away.

Aidan Zingg stood out as a part of Team Green, Kawasaki’s prestigious development squad. Top brands like Oakley, Bell, and Renthal sponsored him. He quickly rose through the ranks of the sport and won the 2024 AMA Amateur National Championship in the Supermini 2 class and came in second place in the Supermini 1 class.

Aidan Zingg had been to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, the center of amateur motocross, every year since 2019 and qualified for the national title. He will move up to the 250cc class in 2025. He was a favorite among fans and professionals alike because of how technically skilled, persistent, and humble he was.

Journalist for Motocross Donn Maeda shared a touching memory: “I talked to him years ago when he was on a 65.” When I asked when he was going to beat up his dad, he smiled and said, “Soon, I’m sure.” He always stopped to say hello, even when he was riding a big bike quickly. It was rare to be that humble. He was a good person.

Aidan Zingg was a young man with a lot of grace and grit in a sport that was all about speed, guts, and adrenaline. His career was just getting started. People who raced after him and watched him try to be the best lap after lap will carry on his memory.
