Dover resident Jordan Cuffee, who was 22 years old at the time of the deadly motorcycle accident that took place on Friday night, has been named as the victim by the Delaware State Police.
A collision that took place in Cheswold ended up being the cause of death for Cuffee, as stated by the authorities. As of now, the authorities have not disclosed any other information concerning the circumstances surrounding the collision, including whether or not there were any other vehicles involved.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit of the Delaware State Police Troop 3 is continuing its investigation into the event. While authorities are working to understand the sequence of events that led up to the tragedy, they have requested assistance from the general public.
“Anyone who witnessed this collision is asked to contact Master Corporal J. Lane by calling (302) 698-8457,” the Delaware State Police said in a statement that was made public. Additionally, the organization mentioned that information can be provided by sending a private message on its official Facebook page or by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at the number 1-800-847-3333.
Not a single charge has been brought up, and as of Sunday, there have been no additional injuries reported.
In the ongoing investigation, the public is being asked for assistance.
