On Friday afternoon, a man who was 44 years old and from Wisconsin passed away as a result of injuries he had after colliding with a tree.
A single-vehicle collision occurred on Cemetery Road in Pembine at approximately 2:25 p.m. on Friday, according to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, which reported that dispatchers were notified of the incident.
As stated in the report, Jacob Bruneau, who was 44 years old and from Pembine, was driving east when he failed to respond appropriately to a bend, causing him to leave the roadway and crash into a tree. Bruneau was regrettably unable to recover from his injuries and passed away despite the fact that he was transported by helicopter.
Despite the fact that the investigation into the disaster is still ongoing, the study suggested that speed was a primary contributor to the collision.
