Connecticut’s NEW HAVEN – After being struck by a vehicle on Friday morning in New Haven, a bicyclist who was 51 years old had injuries that are considered to be life-threatening, according to the police.
The incident took place at approximately 2:20 in the morning in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Orchard Street. According to the authorities, when they got to the scene, they discovered the woman having sustained injuries and laying on the roadway.
According to the police, the woman was sent to a nearby hospital, where it was determined that her injuries were considered to be life-threatening.
Although the vehicle stayed at the site, the driver reportedly escaped before the police came and has not been located as of yet, according to the police.
