7,000 Marijuana Plants Seized in Northern California as Deputies Break Up Major Drug Operation

A drug arrest that took place in Northern California not too long ago resulted in the seizure of about seven thousand illegal marijuana plants.

The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office stated that it collaborated with the regional SWAT team and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to carry out various search warrants in the Brownsville and Dobbins areas throughout the previous week.

“While the primary focus was on locating illegal marijuana cultivation, investigators quickly uncovered additional criminal activity,” the Young County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) claimed. “This included the possession of an illegal firearm, illegal fumigant pesticides, and multiple violations of the water code.”

In accordance with the YCSO, a total of 6,961 plants were eliminated by the time the warrant operations were completed.
A 34-year-old man and a 61-year-old man were taken into custody by law enforcement officials in the vicinity of Pine Ridge Drive in Brownsville and Sun Forest Court in Dobbins, respectively.

A felony cultivation of marijuana charge, possession of marijuana for sale, and resisting arrest are the accusations that have been brought against both of the guys.
