According to officials, an 8-year-old kid in Clinton, Massachusetts, died after being rescued from the water on Wednesday.
The youngster was discovered unconscious in a nearby body of water, and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and the Clinton Police Department said that police arrived at Lakeview Avenue at approximately 2:30 p.m. Mossy Pond is adjacent to the road, which is home to the Harborview Apartments owned by the Clinton Housing Authority.
After being taken to a nearby hospital, the infant was declared dead.
According to authorities, the inquiry is still going on.
