A deadly collision that occurred on Sunday morning, June 1, is being investigated by the Norristown Police Department.
On Sunday, it took place at the intersection of Dekalb Street and Basin Street, just after eleven o’clock in the morning. An automobile was reportedly crossing the junction when it was struck by another vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, as stated by the police.
According to the police, there was a family of three in the vehicle. It was determined that the father had passed away at the scene. It was determined that the woman needed to be transported to Temple Hospital, while the infant was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
At this time, not much is known about their ailments. The individual who was inside the vehicle that was struck was also taken to the hospital for treatment. However, his condition is not known at this time. There has been no additional information offered at this time; however, an investigation is now being conducted.
