A automobile accident that occurred on Thursday night has resulted in the reopening of Route 8 North in Seymour.
According to the website of the state Department of Transportation, the highway was shut down between exits 18 and 21, however it has already been opened again.
There have been reports of serious injuries. The collision took place at approximately 7:10 o’clock in the evening.
According to the Seymour police, the collision resulted in high traffic during the downtown area.
