The bodies of four people, including two children and two adults, were discovered shot and dead inside a house in Manassas Park, Virginia, late on Thursday night. The police are examining the circumstances surrounding the deaths as a suspected murder-suicide.

The kid, who was two years old, the girl, who was eight years old, and two adults who were in their 30s were discovered after their landlord requested that the police conduct a welfare check on the tenants who were living in his downstairs flat, according to the police on Friday.

Santosh Pariyar, 38, Anju Shrestha, 36, and the children, whose names were not disclosed by the authorities, were the individuals involved in this incident.

In a brief statement, the Manassas Park police department provided the following information: “At this time, it appears that this may have been a murder-suicide incident.”

The police did not immediately disclose their belief regarding the identity of the shooter.

According to neighbors who spoke with News4, the victims were a Nepalese family who had relocated into the neighborhood approximately six months prior to the incident. They occupied the building’s ground story.

At approximately 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, the landlord became concerned about the tenants in the downstairs unit located in the 9400 block of Lanae Lane. As a result, the landlord summoned the police to the location. According to the authorities, all four individuals had died from what seemed to be gunshot wounds. A firearm was found at the scene of the crime.

A video taken by Chopper4 on Friday morning shows police cars parked on a block of townhomes that is lined by trees. About two miles to the east of Centreville Road (Route 28) is where you will find this location.

According to the police, all four individuals were transported to the medical examiner’s office located in Manassas.

According to neighbors, the deaths have left them in utter disbelief. An individual stated that their daughter, who was eight years old, had played with the child who was shot and murdered on a daily basis.
