An accident involving many vehicles that occurred on Friday afternoon in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, resulted in the death of one individual and the serious injury of three others.
A little after 2:30 in the afternoon, it took place on the northbound side of Route 3 near mile marker 89. It has been confirmed by MassDOT that all lanes have already been reopened.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others had significant injuries, according to the Massachusetts State Police. There has been no identification of any of the dead, and the inquiry into what caused the collision is still ongoing.
