Los Angeles Shaken as Federal Agents Get Involved in Ongoing Hit and Run Case

An accident that occurred on Wednesday morning in the Boyle Heights district of Los Angeles was being investigated as a suspected assault with a dangerous weapon involving federal agents who fled the scene, according to the authorities.

Approximately 10:47 in the morning, the collision was reported to have occurred near the 3700 block of Whittier Boulevard, according to a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department.

It was quickly stated that there were no significant injuries.

KABC’s helicopter AIR7 captured aerial footage of Los Angeles Police Department officers and firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department at the scene of the incident. There were no federal vehicles that were clearly marked.

It was not made clear by the police which agency the agents who were engaged in the collision were employed by.
