In the evening of Thursday, a two-alarm house fire broke out in Colorado, resulting in the rescue of two people who had been injured. The disappearance of several household pets continues.
A number of people called in to report that a house on 138th Place started fire at approximately 6:05 p.m., as stated by Brighton Fire Rescue. Two individuals were reportedly inside the house at the time of the incident, and firemen were able to rescue them. The extent of the injuries sustained by both individuals is not yet known, despite the fact that they were both sent to a hospital for treatment.
In order to provide assistance to crews that were already present at the area, the Thornton Fire Department, the South Adams Fire Department, and the Fort Lupton Fire Department also arrived. While firemen tried to put the fire under control, the authorities stated that water had to be sent to the location.
From the house, smoke could be seen billowing for more than a mile in every direction. Officials stated that the powerful winds that engulfed the residence were the cause of the two-alarm fire that broke out. As a result of the fire, the house sustained significant damage, and the fire service is of the opinion that it may be a ruin.
According to what they learned, a number of cats that belonged to the residents are still missing.
The fire was able to protect a neighboring house, which was supposedly in danger of being destroyed by the flames.
