Manchester, NH: Two Children in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Car

As a result of witnesses claiming that an automobile was responsible for a multi-scene collision that resulted in the injuries of five individuals, including two children, there is a sense of astonishment and complete incredulity along Belmont Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. A man was taken into custody by the police for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police say that the two young women who were struck by the car have injuries that are considered to be life-threatening. The girls were reportedly crossing the street with their father, according to witnesses who spoke to WBZ-TV. It was a girl who was riding her bicycle. The second girl, who was being pushed in a stroller, was being given the description of a baby.

A witness stated that the car struck the girl who was riding the bike with such force that she was thrown over the roof of the vehicle. They assert that the offender continued driving through the area and dragged the stroller a block up the road while the infant was secured inside.

“It’s traumatic for children around here, especially young children in the area,” said Laura Bennett, who lives on the street. “It’s especially traumatic for children in the area.” Every one of us is really close. A firefighter who is not on duty visits injured youngsters.

Officials from the city of Manchester stated that an off-duty firefighter was the one who happened to be in the vicinity and instantly provided the girls with essential assistance.
