Florida Tragedy 3 Family Members Dead After Collision with 18-Wheeler Near Alabama-Georgia State Line

The coroner for Houston County confirmed that a Florida couple and their adult daughter were killed in a collision that occurred on Saturday in Houston County. The accident occurred when the couple’s SUV crossed the interstate and collided with an 18-wheeler.

Alan David Waller, 74, Marian Diane Myrick Waller, 71, and Carrie Christine Stone, 49, all of Floral, Florida, were identified as the victims by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Carrie Christine Stone was reported to have been from Inverness, Florida.

In Gordon, Alabama, close to the state line with Georgia, the family was driving on County Road 95 when they crossed two lanes of traffic. They were traveling across U.S. 84.

They proceeded to cross the median once they had arrived at it, and at approximately 12:15 p.m., an 18-wheeler traveling in the eastbound direction collided with their vehicle with the passenger side.

Tracy Deshon Williams, which is 48 years old and hails from Tyler, Texas, was the driver of the 2023 Freightliner tractor-trailer.

Coroner Robert Byrd stated that all three of them passed away as a result of the impact.

If you are talking about a mother, a father, and a daughter, then it is a very tragic situation. In addition, the daughter is a mother to little ones,” he stated in an interview.

I simply despise it for everyone involved; it’s a very sad situation.
