Illinois Man Killed in Head-On Crash Identified by Rock Co. Medical Examiner

According to the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, the deceased individual was a man who was killed in a collision involving two vehicles on June 22.

Alec Z. Hoffmann, who was 26 years old, passed away as a result of the accident.

According to the authorities, the collision took place on West Highway 81 in the Town of Avon just before 11 o’clock at night.

According to the authorities, the man from Illinois passed away at the scene on June 23.

From the preliminary findings of a forensic investigation, it appears that he passed away as a result of injuries he sustained in the collision.

Additional testing is currently being conducted.

A man from Marion, Iowa, who was thirty years old and driving a Ford F-350, was reportedly traveling westbound on Wisconsin State Route 81 when he crossed over the center line of traffic, according to the authorities.

There was an attempt made by the driver to get back into the correct lane, but the Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports that they were unsuccessful in doing so. This man from Winnebago, Illinois was driving a Nissan Sentra that was traveling eastbound when he was involved in a head-on collision with the Ford.

Although they are not considered to be life-threatening, the driver and passengers of the Ford are receiving medical treatment for serious injuries.

In the ongoing investigation into this incident, both the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department are working together.

As a result of the collision, the highway was closed in both directions for close to eight hours.
