Wednesday night’s automobile chase and robbery in Stamford resulted in the arrest of two suspects.
A vehicle used in an NYPD officer robbery was seen entering Connecticut. The vehicle was leaving the Interstate 95 entry ramp in the incorrect direction, according to the police.
Then the motorist turned onto Summer Street in Stamford in the incorrect direction.
As a result, the area was closed for two hours when a trooper who was pursuing the driver was hit by another car.
According to police, the police cruiser struck another car in the collision, rotated, and struck a parked car.
With non-life-threatening injuries, the trooper and three other crash participants were sent to the hospital.
According to the police, the driver fled once again before abandoning the vehicle on Merritt Parkway. Authorities said the driver fled, along with a woman inside.
Eventually, they were discovered hiding in a yard. The charges against the two individuals are unknown.
Every vehicle in the collision had to be towed after suffering significant damage.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
