A man’s body was found in a car in Rehoboth Beach on Tuesday, and Delaware Ste Police officials said a homicide investigation is in progress.
Officers responded to a report of a “foul odor” coming from a car parked along Olive Avenue on Tuesday at around 6:30 p.m., according to the police.
A gray Mazda CX-5 registered in Virginia was lawfully parked in front of a house when the police came.
Nevertheless, authorities reported that they discovered a dead individual inside the car after examining it.
According to officials, it was difficult to view the man’s remains from outside the car since they were partially covered.
However, authorities stated that following the finding of the remains, a homicide investigation has been launched.
