Two Suspects on the Run After Armed Robbery of Loomis Truck, $1,000 Stolen

The police department’s spokesperson stated that on Thursday, an armed Loomis truck was robbed while it was making a delivery to a grocery store in Northeast Philadelphia. The delivery was being made to the grocery store.

According to the police, the robbery took place on June 26 at approximately 3:15 p.m. at the Aldi retail store located on the 5200 block of Whitaker Avenue.

According to the officials, the driver of the truck was approached by two individuals who were armed while the truck was serving as a delivery vehicle at the Aldi facility.

As per the police, the two suspects allegedly made off with a sum of one thousand dollars in cash and left in a Nissan in the direction of Roosevelt Boulevard.

Almost immediately after the event, SkyForce10 flew over the location where a white truck with the Loomis brand could be seen parked at the front entrance of an Aldi store with a number of police cars surrounding it.
