Six People Dead After Small Plane Goes Down in Ohio, Officials Report

The accident of a tiny plane that occurred just minutes after it took off from an airfield in Ohio resulted in the deaths of six passengers, according to the officials.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a Cessna 441 that was carrying six passengers and crew members went down on Sunday morning close to Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. Monday was the day that authorities remained at the scene.

During a press conference, the Executive Director of the Western Reserve Port Authority, Anthony Trevena, stated that there were no individual survivors. It was reported by Trevena that the victims were transported to the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office; however, he did not disclose the names of the victims.

Raymond Pace, the Chief of Fire for Howland Township, acknowledged that it was challenging to reach the location of the collision.

We have a lot of good fortune. Pace stated that although this is a really unfortunate scenario, it might have been far more awful. He mentioned that there were three residences located in close proximity to the location where the plane crashed.

According to Michael Hillman, president of the aviation company, flight monitoring data that was available to the public revealed that the plane was headed to Bozeman, Montana.

In terms of the people who were present at the field, as well as the pilots, these represented the very best of the very best. The statement that Hillman made during the press conference was, “I can’t say enough about them.” To rewind the day and take them out to breakfast instead would be something I would give anything to do.

There will be an inquiry conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board (NSTB), which will be led by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
