On the Fourth of July holiday, cities all around Southern California scheduled a broad variety of festivities which would take place throughout the day. These events included parades, pool parties, and barbecues.
On Friday, July 4, families will have the opportunity to take part in these daytime events, which will take place before a night filled with spectacular professional fireworks performances.
Anaheim: At the Yankee Doodle Dog Show in Anaheim, which is a part of the city’s celebrations that will last throughout the entire day, patriotic dogs will be displaying their skills. At nine in the morning, there will be a dog show, and at one in the afternoon, there will be a parade, and after that, there will be live entertainment. The day will start with a Firecracker 5K/10K race.
The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a festive barbecue lunch and views of Rainbow Harbor as part of their admission fee that is valid for the entire day. Huntington Beach: A parade and festival will take place after the Surf City 5K Run, which will take place at seven in the morning, as part of the 121st annual Independence Day Event that will be held in Huntington Beach. All throughout the weekend, there will be live entertainment and a block party on the main street, which will keep the feeling of patriotism alive.
Manhattan Beach: The Fourth of July will be celebrated in Manhattan Beach with a pool party at Begg Pool from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon.
