WATCH Vigilantes Deliver Street Justice on NYC Subway After Harassment Incident

A dramatic scene on a Brooklyn subway platform has gone viral on TikTok after a man violently restrained a woman before being tackled and beaten by vigilante bystanders.

Fredrick Marshall was caught on camera allegedly following a 20-year-old woman onto the J train platform at Norwood Avenue in Cypress Hills around 9 a.m. on Sunday. The 42-year-old reportedly began arguing with the woman before grabbing and attempting to restrain her in what onlookers described as a frightening and unprovoked encounter.

The woman’s screams quickly drew the attention of several men on the platform.

“Let her go!” one shouted, moments before Marshall allegedly shoved her to the ground and held her again as she tried to flee.

At that point multiple bystanders jumped in, pulling the woman away and striking Marshall.

“I’m gonna fuck you up!” one man shouted as punches flew.

In the chaos that followed, the victim was able to escape, seen in the video crying and calling her mother as she fled down the platform.

“Somebody try to tell you something, chill the fuck out? Now you got it!” another man said, standing over Marshall.

According to the New York Post, police arrived shortly after and arrested Marshall at the scene. The outlet reported that he was carrying a knife and a small, club-like weapon. The woman was treated by medics for minor injuries.

Marshall, who had no prior arrests, was charged with assault, harassment, and criminal possession of a weapon but granted supervised release after prosecutors said the charges were not bail-eligible.
