Apart from retirement and SSDI benefit payments issued by the Social Security Administration, some Americans obtain survivors’ benefits on the record of a retired worker who passes away. It is therefore recommended that you wait three days or get in touch with your bank before calling the Social Security Administration to report a payment that has been missed or that has been late. Regardless of whether the payday is on July 16 or July 23, the average payment for all survivors is determined to be $1,566.66.
