Flores is said to have gotten a knife while he was there and choked the other man until he passed out. They say that the friend’s arms and legs were tied with zip ties and duct tape when he woke up.

Fernes left his friend while he went to the bank and took money out of his friend’s account and put it in his own.

It was said by police that Flores kept his friend at the house for hours. The friend finally got away when Flores was asleep the next morning.

The friend was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

When police searched Flores’ home with a warrant, they found the same things that were used to bind his friend, along with methamphetamine and cocaine. Flores was caught at his home and put in jail on charges of stealing, kidnapping, and having a controlled substance on his person.
