The child, who was two years old, passed away after becoming caught in the window blinds of a motel, according to the Alabama police.
The kid, who has been identified as Kiere DeAndre Jaden Daniels, Jr. by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, was staying at a hotel in Birmingham with his family, who were traveling from Michigan to visit him.
He was discovered lifeless in the hotel room on July 4, and he was sent to a hospital where he was treated. The hospital was where he passed away six days later.
The event is being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department, and it is not anticipated that any criminal activity occurred.
