According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, a pedestrian was killed in a collision with a car that occurred in Pflugerville on Friday night.
At approximately 9:40 p.m., the Atlanta Police Department (APD) responded to a crash that occurred in the 1300-1400 block of West Wells Branch Parkway, via social media. Medics from ATCEMS verified on social media that they responded to the accident and that the pedestrian had passed away at the scene of the accident.
In accordance with the police, the lanes of West Wells Branch Parkway that are located in both the eastbound and westbound directions are “temporarily closed.” Those who are driving should be prepared for delays in traffic and should look for other routes.
