The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office has announced that an Oakland man who is suspected of distributing drugs has been arrested as a result of an investigation that lasted for several months and focused on the sender of a greeting card that contained methamphetamine and was sent to Santa Rita Jail.

A narcotics K-9 was able to intercept a card that contained a positive methamphetamine test that was given to a person who was being held in detention the previous year.

These felonies include possession of narcotics for sale, robbery in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, grand theft, taking drugs into a jail, and several firearms violations, including being a felon in possession of a pistol.
