Bethlehem Crash Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Boy After Colliding with Parked Vehicle

A 17-year-old teenager was killed early on Sunday morning in Bethlehem Township, which is located in Northampton County. The event involved two automobiles and took place close to a pair of schools in Bethlehem. The police in Bethlehem Township are conducting an investigation into the incident.

At around 1:28 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, the event took place along the 3000 block of Chester Road in Bethlehem, close to Freedom High School and East Hills Middle School, as stated by the police.

According to the authorities, at that time, a group of adolescents was involved in a collision, during which a man of seventeen years of age collided with a vehicle that was parked and remained in place.

Police stated that the youngster was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

The school was visited by a large number of people on Sunday, and a woman who lives in the neighborhood told NBC10 that she is unable to fathom the suffering that the boy’s loved ones are experiencing.

Krystal Palank, who resides in Bethlehem Township, stated that the information of what took place was quite hazy. “Pray for the family and all the other kids involved, definitely.”

The child who passed away was a student at Freedom High School, according to a statement that was posted on the website of the Bethlehem Area School District.

Counselors who specialize in bereavement counseling will be available at the high school beginning on Monday, according to officials with the school system.
