After being struck by a vehicle on Sunday in the Jamaica Plain area of Boston, a pedestrian acquired injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.
In response to a pedestrian accident that occurred on Arbor Way close to the Forest Hills MBTA Station, Massachusetts State Police troopers rushed to the scene.
In addition, Boston emergency medical services rushed the victim to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, according to the police. As of right now, there was no new information on their condition.
In order to make room for the investigation that was taking place at the location, the westbound driving lanes on the Arborway were taken off between Washington Street and the Center Street Rotary.
Immediate clarity was lacking regarding whether or not the driver will be subject to any charges.
