Breaking in San Mateo: Shelter-in-Place Order Lifted as Armed Robbery Probe Concludes

On Thursday afternoon, residents living in the vicinity of the downtown area of San Mateo were given the instruction to remain in their current locations.

The police have stated that the region between South Delaware and South Eldorado streets, which is located between Fourth and Seventh avenues, has been given the command to remain in place and shelter in place.

Officers were conducting an investigation into a robbery that occurred near the 600 block of South Eldorado Street, according to the police.

A little after 5 o’clock in the evening, the shelter-in-place order was rescinded.
