by Friday was the day when a teacher from the Chicago Public Schools was scheduled to appear in court on allegations that he had sent sexually explicit communications to a student who attended his school.
According to the records filed in the court, Trevon Jackson, who is 27 years old and works as a teacher at Adlai E. Stevenson Elementary School located at 8010 S. Kostner Avenue, sent a message to the 13-year-old using the popular video game Roblox. As stated in the court filings, he would occasionally do so over chat.
Since the beginning of May, Jackson has been released on bond.
There was an attempt made to get a comment from the Chicago Public Schools; however, as of late Thursday night, the news outlet had not gotten a response from the schools.
