The police in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, have reported that two young women were riding an electric scooter when they were struck by a vehicle. The injuries they got are considered to be life-threatening; they are serious.
The Aston Township Police Department distributed a news release in which they disclosed that the event took place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at around 2:18 p.m. in the vicinity of Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road in Aston.
According to the police, as soon as first responders arrived at the site, they first administered immediate medical assistance to both of the girls before taking them to a nearby hospital. According to the current medical reports, both of the girls are in severe condition.
It has been reported by the authorities that the Aston Township Police Department and the Delaware County Accident Reconstruction Team are continuing their investigation into the incident.
The driver of the car that was involved in the collision remained at the scene and is providing full cooperation with the investigation, according to the police. At this time, there have been no citations or criminal charges filed against the driver.
The police stated that Lehr Boulevard was closed while they were conducting their investigation; however, it has already been reopened to car traffic.
