A stabbing that occurred early in the morning on Wednesday in the Downtown area of Pittsburgh rendered one person injured.
The stabbing occurred just before 5 o’clock on Wednesday morning, according to dispatchers who spoke with KDKA. First responders were dispatched to the area of Liberty Avenue and Smithfield Street to investigate the incident.
According to the dispatchers, one individual was transported to the hospital. As of right now, we do not know what their condition is.
It is not known what took place prior to the stabbing, nor is it known if anyone has been taken into custody.
The Pittsburgh Police Department has not yet provided any information regarding the stabbing.
