Driver Flees After Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Bicyclist in L.A. Neighborhood

A bike was struck and killed overnight in the Broadway-Manchester neighbourhood of Los Angeles, and the police are looking for the car who caused the accident. The bicyclist was left to die in the street.

It was reported that the hit-and-run event occurred on Sunday night about 11 o’clock, close to the intersection of East Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street.

When officers arrived, they discovered a bicycle that had been severely damaged as well as a man in his mid-30s lying on the roadway.

A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA that the unidentified male was declared dead at the scene of the incident.

After conducting their investigation, the investigators have determined that the bicyclist was riding westbound on Century Boulevard when he was struck by a car travelling in the same way.

In spite of the fact that they were in need of assistance, the driver continued driving down Century Boulevard.

Neither the driver nor the car could be described by the representative, who was unable to provide any information.
