MILPITAS, Calif. – An arrest was made on a motorway on Tuesday afternoon, following a pursuit that spanned 17 miles over the Tri-Valley and South Bay. A significant portion of the incident was captured on camera.
At three forty minutes past the hour, Officer Ross Lee of the California Highway Patrol stated that the initial pursuit began in San Ramon.
According to the police, the driver of a Ford Mustang did not slow down and continued down Interstate 680 at a speed of seventy miles per hour on his way to Silicon Valley.
Filmed the moments when the California Highway Patrol attempted to stop the driver by performing a pit maneuver; however, the driver was able to escape the first time. hovered overhead and witnessed the events that transpired.
After waiting for a few minutes, the officers were finally able to arrest the driver.
The driver was taken into arrest around 4:38 p.m. on N. Abel Street in Milpitas, California, after law enforcement officers surrounded the vehicle and drew him out after pulling him out.
Brandon Collins, who was 29 years old and from Danville, was recognised as the individual.
An orange 2016 Ford Mustang was being driven by a person who may have been driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Lieutenant Mike Pistello of the San Ramon authorities Department, who told KTVU that the authorities were seeking for this Mustang.
According to Pistello, it was discovered that Collins was not driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs when he was brought into custody.
However, he was taken into custody by the police for avoiding a felony, and he was subsequently placed into the Santa Rita Jail.
