Florida Man Accused of Running Over Foot Model After She Refused Fetish Request on First Date

Aventura, Florida – A bizarre first date turned violent last weekend when a Florida man allegedly ran over a foot model with his car after she refused to let him smell her feet. Police say the encounter began with an unusual request inside a hotel room and escalated into a shocking act of violence outside.

Unusual First Date Request

According to an arrest affidavit, Elmoncy Sercle, 28, met the woman through the dating app Seeking and arranged to meet her at the Serena Hotel in Aventura on Sunday.

During the meeting, Sercle allegedly asked if he could smell her feet and purchase her used sneakers. The model, who requested anonymity for safety reasons, told him the shoes would cost $1,000 and that she would need to retrieve them from her car.

“When I got there, he just wanted to sniff my feet, and I didn’t feel comfortable with that,” the woman later told Local 10 News.

Confrontation Turns Violent

The affidavit states that after the woman went to the restroom, she heard Sercle run out of the hotel room. Fearing he had stolen something, she rushed to the parking lot.

There, she reportedly saw Sercle driving away in a red Mercedes SUV. Witnesses said he passed her, made a three-point turn, and then deliberately ran her over with the vehicle.

“I’ve met a lot of people who have foot fetishes, obviously, and nobody has ever done anything to this caliber,” the model said. “By the grace of God, I’m still standing today.”

Criminal Charges Filed

Sercle was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, a felony under Florida law. Court records show he pleaded not guilty at his arraignment.

Aggravated battery is a serious charge in Florida, carrying potential penalties of up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Foot Fetish Industry and Risks

While foot modeling and related fetishes are widely known and often harmless, experts say incidents like this highlight risks when private arrangements are made outside structured business or professional platforms.

The victim herself acknowledged the unusual nature of the request but said nothing in her experience suggested it would escalate to violence.

“You could have my sneakers all you want,” she told reporters. “They’re just stinky old sneakers. But people like weird things.”

Ongoing Investigation

Police continue to review surveillance footage and witness statements as the case moves forward in court. Authorities have not released additional details on whether Sercle remains in custody or was granted bond.

For the victim, the ordeal has become a cautionary tale about meeting strangers through dating apps and the importance of taking safety precautions.
