The authorities and the people who were affected by the murder of a woman outside of a church may finally have answers eight years after the crime.
It was on Tuesday that the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) made the accusation that Percy Johnson was responsible for the death of a woman who was 39 years old and whose body was discovered in the parking lot of a church in Jacksonville, close to Soutel Drive.
Johnson is reportedly being held at the Duval County Jail, where he is 65 years old.
Currently, Johnson is a registered sexual predator, and there are proceedings pending against him in both Jacksonville and St. Johns County. As a result of the woman’s passing, the police have brought charges against him for murder.
JSO has stated that it is collaborating with the State Attorney’s Office to investigate the matter in order to bring justice to the family of the woman.
