Fort Worth Woman's Body Missing After Murder Investigation Continues

Nofal was full of life and always wanted to help where she could, according to her family, who describe her as a proud Jordanian-Palestinian woman who loved her job as a flight attendant.

Dennis Day, her roommate, confessed to killing her in his house on Grant Lynn Circle on Monday, according to Fort Worth police. He told them that Nofal was filming him and that he would call the police when he lost his temper and started strangling her.

He claimed that after realizing he was being filmed, he pulled her body outside to the garden and turned off his security system. Day then admitted to authorities that he had taken the body to a garbage can and tossed it over a bridge in Montague County, close to Bowie.

Police discovered a revolver they suspect belonged to Nofal after Day acknowledged throwing it into a storm drain beneath a Fort Worth overpass, but her corpse is still missing.

According to Nofal’s family, she should have her memory remembered for touching everyone’s hearts.

A family member who wished to remain anonymous while the legal proceedings are ongoing said, “She always tried to help people.”

“Her entire family has unresolved questions. No one ever gets to give her a hug, a kiss, or a declaration of love. She went on to say, “Her daughter will never see her again.”

Detectives investigating homicides in Fort Worth are still searching for Nofal’s body. The local police near Bowie told them that her remains might have washed downstream because the area’s streams have flooded multiple times since March.

“Everything about it was wrong, so there isn’t enough justice to make this right,” the family stated.

“We urge you to come forward if you have any information that could help locate Rana or bring greater understanding to what happened,” the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation Inc. said in a statement posted Wednesday. Every voice and every action counts in times like this. We must all work together to find the truth, encourage one another, and create a future free from horrifying occurrences like this one.”
