According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, a man identified as 26 years old from Henrietta sustained life-threatening injuries on Monday as a result of a collision between his vehicle and a tractor-trailer in Wayne County. Around nine o’clock in the morning, the collision occurred as the driver of the truck attempted to make a left turn onto Route 104.
According to the deputies, the truck driver from Florida failed to yield, which resulted in the collision with the car traveling in the other direction. After suffering injuries that were considered to be life-threatening, Ahmed Sulieman, the driver of the vehicle, was taken to the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
The investigation into the disaster is still ongoing, and investigators are working to identify any charges or factors that contributed to the accident.
