ICE Arrests Six Criminal Aliens in Houston Linked to 48 Convictions, 42 Illegal Entries

HOUSTON, TX — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Houston have arrested six illegal aliens whose combined criminal histories include 48 convictions and 42 illegal entries into the United States. Officials say the arrests remove dangerous individuals from local communities and prevent further crimes.

ICE’s Public Safety Mission

“For the past 20 years, these six violent criminal aliens have brazenly violated our nation’s immigration and criminal laws, wreaking havoc in our local communities and leaving countless victims in their wake,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Houston acting Field Office Director Gabriel Martinez.

Martinez credited the current administration’s focus on border security and immigration enforcement for the successful arrests.

“Thanks to the current administration’s focus on securing the border and making immigration enforcement a priority, they have been removed from the local community and will no longer be able to prey on innocent Americans,” he said.

Details of the Arrested Individuals

According to ice.gov, the six men taken into custody last week are linked to extensive criminal backgrounds and repeated illegal reentries into the United States:

  • Oscar Moran Valle, 43, from Mexico, a documented Paisas gang member. Arrested July 29, Valle has illegally entered the U.S. 12 times and has 11 criminal convictions — including three for illegal entry, two for DWI, and one each for drug possession, larceny, giving false ID to law enforcement, illegal reentry, and driving without a license.
  • Thanh Van Nguyen, 53, from Vietnam. Arrested July 29, Nguyen has been convicted of nine criminal offenses, including three burglaries, two counts of larceny, assault, obstructing police, and damaging private property.

Multiagency Targeting Effort

The arrests were conducted by multiagency targeting teams, which operate under a directive to identify and remove “the worst of the worst” criminal aliens who pose significant threats to public safety and national security.

According to ICE, these teams combine resources from federal, state, and local law enforcement to identify high-priority targets with violent criminal histories, extensive immigration violations, or both.

Ongoing Commitment to Public Safety

Officials say each arrest helps deter future illegal reentry and reduces the likelihood of repeat offenses against residents. Martinez emphasized that the arrests not only serve to uphold immigration law but also directly improve community safety.
