In the aftermath of a collision that occurred on Saturday, a biker from Midland is still in critical condition.
Within the 3600 block of West Illinois Avenue, Midland police officers responded to a collision that resulted in significant bodily harm at approximately one o’clock in the morning on Saturday, June 28. This information was provided by a news release issued by the city. The first findings of the investigation from the Metropolitan Police Department stated that a 2022 BMW 550 was heading eastbound along Illinois when it was struck from behind by a 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle.
According to the press release issued by the Metropolitan Police Department, “the operator of (the motorcycle) was not wearing a helmet or any other form of protective equipment at the time of the motorcycle collision.” “As a consequence of the collision, the driver was thrown from the vehicle and sustained injuries that are not only severe but also potentially fatal.”
According to the police, the person who was operating the motorcycle was still reported as being in serious condition as of eight o’clock on Saturday morning. The motorcycle operator was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital before being brought there.
Investigation of the incident is still going on at this time.
