July 8–9 Update Selected Areas of Mojave Riverwalk Closed

VICTORVILLE—

The City of Victorville announced July 6 that portions of the Victorville Mojave Riverwalk will be closed for maintenance on July 8 and 9 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.

A contractor will be trimming vegetation along the path from Catalina Road to Yucca Loma Road to ensure a more accessible trail.

Community members can still use sections of the Riverwalk during this improvement project, but there will not be any through access at the maintenance site.

According to the City of Victorville, selected portions of the Riverwalk will be inaccessible during daylight hours on both days as crews carry out necessary repairs and upgrades. The closures are expected to begin early in the morning and conclude by late afternoon, though exact times may vary depending on weather conditions and the progress of work.
