Late-Night Crash in Santa Rosa Sends Teen to Hospital, Police Investigate

On Saturday evening, a collision that resulted in injuries to a teenager is being investigated by the Santa Rosa Police Department.

At around 10:20 p.m., the collision took place at the junction of College Avenue and Beaver Street for the first time.

The law enforcement officials stated that they received multiple calls to 911 regarding the collision, and one of those calls came from the motorist, who informed them that the teenager was still lying in the roadway.

It was on the westbound lanes of College Avenue that the first responders discovered the teen who was unconscious. After being transported to a trauma centre with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening, he was later transferred to a separate trauma centre in the Bay Area.

The motorist remained at the site and cooperated, despite the fact that the police have stated that they would not yet be publishing their identify.

She allegedly informed officers that she was driving westbound on College Avenue and that she hit the teenager when she was getting close to the Beaver Street Intersection. This information was provided by the police. According to the police, she gave the officers the information that he had entered the street from the north side of College Avenue.

According to the authorities investigating the incident, neither alcohol nor narcotics appeared to play a role in the collision.

An investigation is currently underway to determine whether or not the 14-year-old was present in the crosswalk at the time of the collision. The investigators are searching for surveillance footage in the vicinity.

According to the police, the adolescent may have been riding a skateboard at the time of the accident and may have been with another person at the time of the collision.
