A bus and a motorbike were involved in a collision that occurred on Wednesday morning close to the downtown area of Los Angeles, according to the police.
According to a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision was reported at 5:17 a.m. on Wednesday, close to the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Alameda Street, which is located just south of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
An officer stated that initial reports indicated that the rider had been involved in a collision with a DASH bus and that they were pronounced dead at the site.
Even when workers from the fire service responded, the victim had already sustained severe harm and was no longer able to be helped. Brian Humphrey, who works for the Los Angeles Fire Department, stated that no other individuals were sought medical attention or transported.
Humphrey stated that the victim was a male and that it is believed that he was in his mid-30s.
The Central Traffic Division of the Los Angeles Police Department was conducting an investigation into the deadly collision.
