After throwing fentanyl onto the shoulder of a road during a traffic stop, a guy is charged of tampering with evidence he had thrown onto the road.
Glen Booth, 34, was the subject of a traffic stop that was carried out by officers from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Sunday at 6:12 p.m., according to the deputies.
When the officer was walking up to the vehicle, he looked down and observed a clear bag holding a green powder on the shoulder of the road. This bag was located precisely close to where he had pulled over before proceeding for a little distance, according to a post that the Houston County Sheriff’s Office made publicly available on Facebook.
According to the deputies, they discovered that the bag contained 3.4 grams of fentanyl after conducting additional inspections.
Booth was arrested for possessing fentanyl and tampering with physical evidence that was based on the evidence that was shown to the deputies.
