The Avondale neighborhood in Chicago was the location where a man was discovered with multiple stab wounds early on Tuesday morning, according to the Chicago police department. The man later passed away.
At approximately two minutes before two o’clock in the morning, Chicago police discovered a man who was 39 years old and had multiple cuts and lacerations in the 3400 block of North Kimball Avenue.
At this point, it seems that the man was discovered close to a possible homeless encampment.
According to the Chicago police, the man passed away at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been reported.
The time at which the stabbing occurred is not entirely clear.
The police have not made any arrests.
Chicago police are conducting an investigation.
