During the weekend, a neighbourhood in Southern California was the scene of a mass shooting that resulted in six individuals being injured, with all but one of them suffering from injuries that were considered to be life-threatening.
At approximately eleven minutes before eleven o’clock local time on June 21, deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of Orchid Lane in Moreno Valley in response to a complaint of a shooting. This information comes from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
In terms of distance, the city is approximately 60 miles east of Los Angeles and around 15 miles south of San Bernandino.
A representative for the sheriff’s office stated to USA TODAY that as of the 23rd of June, no arrests had been made in the case, no suspect had been named, and no motive had been made publically available for the shooting.
According to a press release issued by the sheriff’s office, deputies who arrived on the scene discovered a young man who was suffering from several gunshot wounds near the intersection of Hemlock Avenue.
Four additional teenage lads were found at the scene, all of whom were suffering from gunshot wounds.
“Deputies searched the area for the suspects responsible for the shooting; however, they were unable to locate them,” the sheriff’s office noted in the release. “The shooting investigation is still ongoing.”

According to the officials, first responders took the five adolescents to a hospital to receive treatment for injuries that were considered to be life-threatening.
Additionally, a sixth adolescent who was also suffering from injuries sustained in the shooting turned up while they were there, according to the ongoing release.
