According to the Miami Police Department, a collision involving three vehicles that occurred on Tuesday evening close to Shenandoah Park resulted in the death of one individual and the injury of two others.
The person who lives in the area, Marcos Mere, expressed his disapproval by saying, “That is terrible, it is not something that you really want to see in your neighborhood.”
An individual who was out jogging, a car that was not occupied, and an ice cream truck that has a woman inside were all impacted by a driver at the intersection of SW 21 Avenue and SW 19 Street just before 7 o’clock, according to the findings of the investigation. It has been determined by the police that the driver is Andres Fialloestupinan, who is 36 years old.
I was able to hear a big ‘boom’. My instincts told me that it was an accident, so I went out into the world barefoot and all. As a result, I went for a trip down to the park, and it was there that I came upon a deceased individual,” Mere explained. “He flew from the impact, flew, severed his leg and he landed where I saw him.”
Neighbors reported that Fialloestupinan was driving in an unusual manner immediately prior to the deadly collision.
“He was involved in another accident and fled that accident and he was fleeing through the streets,” Mere explained to reporters.
According to the residents, Fialloestupinan made an attempt to flee the scene of the fatal collision.
“He went inside the park and a bunch of people tackled him down and they held him, I don’t know, until the police came,” Mere explained to reporters.
However, according to a source, the deceased man was a husband and a father of two children. The identity of the man who was slain has not yet been made public.
In order to receive medical attention, Fialloestupinan and the woman who was driving the ice cream truck were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
There are two charges that have been brought against Fialloestupinan: leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in serious bodily injury.
